Default Oil Pressure

Both the digital and analog oil pressure gauges on my 1998 Corvette are indicating that my oil pressure is at 130 psi. What can be causing this - a defective sending unit. If so, where is the oil pressure sending unit located on this engine?

You know, I forget. I want to say it's under the intake manifold, but I'm not sure. I'll try to look it up, I've got a service manual for it somewhere.

I am experiencing the exact same thing on my 2001. Thank you for this explanation. It is exactly why I entered this forum.
