My 2006 C6 with 7300 miles, I bought it new, check engine light is on. The local dealer says the problem is the gas cap and he ordered a new one ... says I can drive the xxx until the cap arrives. Does anyone have any experience with a similar problem? What does it take to reset the light?

 

He's probably correct. It happens. If the new cap does not fix it then complain -- then it's probably a tank air expansion filter.
