Ok so we drove the vette to daytona for the duel which btw had no problem parking (was afraid of where to park w/out getting banged up). After approx 7 hrs we get back to a dead battery, it's an auto & DH (whose only driven it a handful of times) left it in gear...even if he left ACC on that would shut down auto. Question, if he'd left it in reverse, would that have left the back up lights/all other lights in the car on the entire time to drain the battery? Hummm now I'm wondering if it even locked cause we'd left a $2K magellin in the trunk! Next question for anyone familiar with nav systems...we may have a bad DVD, we were using it for the 1st time, listened to the CD/read the book, are familiar with other systems, but it wouldn't let us get to all screens...it showed the auto on the map moving, let ya touch the emerg screen & tell ya how to get to that dest, but that's bout it, it wouldn't let ya get to the POI, destinations, etc screens. Any ideas?

 

I have been having problems with a dead battery in my new 2005 corvette. Did you find the solution to this problem? My dealership has been awlful with me concerning this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
