Basically 4500 off msrp. All the options have quite nice discounts as well.

I actually gottwo dealers to quote me invoice, or invoice + 100 bucks on a special order 08. This was Paradise Chevyin Ventura, CA and Rydell inVan Nuys, if anyone cares.

I was surprised because some people say Corvettes demand a premium in SoCal. Most dealers are somewhat unwilling to give deep discounts on orders. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try, though. In fact I don't think it makes sense to buya car off the lot, just order exactly what you want and work on a good discount. I think the best tactic is to tell them you have a quote from another dealer for invoice + a couple of hundred bucks (I don't think it helps toproject anaggressive attitude, just respectful and matter of fact). Most dealers will turn you away, but you only need one to say yes. I did all my initial searching and getting quotes over email. It's too easy, don't skip that part.
