Hey guys, I am new to the site and I have been wondering just how easy is it to install the c6 z06 rear fenders on to a c6?

 

You can do anything if you have enough money, but you would have to spend a lot to do it well. Probably not worth the trouble.

 

If you will soon be getting a C6, just get the C6 Z06, why bother with fender swap?

 

I just had the Z06 quarter panels added on... looks great the panels where $950 and labor was just shy of $500 at my body shop! If you would like to see before and after pictures go to my website: www.smokinvette.com and you can see the difference it makes.

I am wondering why the expense? Is it just the look you want, or is this necessary in order to fit wider tires to improve the handling and traction? The look is so much like stock it hardly seems worth it for that. What size tires do you run after the mod?
