I have a 97 Vette with 54k miles. The visual appearance of the car is imaculate. However, the rear suspension is a bit mooshy. I've had two separate mechanics look at the issue, but just suggested to replace the shocks. Which was what I was inclined to do as well. However, both mechanics were probably just out to make a buck as well. Regardless I don't mind making the replacement, but I'm not sure OEM is the way to go.

Does anyone have some suggestions on some excellent aftermarket rear shocks for a C5 Vette? The OEM are about $230 each. Not that this is a big deal, but I want to make sure there isn't something better out there before I throw down the cash.
