Hatch Window
Got an LED flashlight? Shine it through the glass at night onto some paper. See how much spectrum breakup (rainbow effect)you get. And how uniform it is on the paper.

Hi chopperman and welcome to the forum, the glass is uv or polorized or some thing like that, it's the way it's made.
As long as the objects in the outside mirror says "The objects are getting smaller because they are loosing" you'll be Okay. PG

The window has a lot of curves and you are looking through it on quite an angle so a certain level of distortion comes with that.
I do have some exposure to GM repair records, and I have not heard of any rear glass replaced for distortion.
If it bothers you a lot, I offer to trade my old 92 for your 2007!
