I closed the hatch on my 2005 coupe and noticed hareline crack on both sides of the back window.
The next morning, the entire window had collasped into my trunk, broken into thousands of pieces.
Has any one else experienced this?
I'm at a loss to explain what caused the crack and the splintering.
The window replacement cost is about $800!!

I tried to reply once and my computer crashed so I will try to make this short. In April 05 My window shattered, I didn't think the dealer would believe me but I had it caught on a security camera. It was covered by warrenty, after they saw the tape and someone on the net said that he was at the Plant when my car was being built, 9/04. His was built the same week and he said they were having issues with the rear hatch. If I can be of any help just E-mail me but I know it was $800 for the window and at the time there were 2 in the country. Somehow !! mine was fixed the next day under the warrenty.
