Have you used a piece of heater hose about 3 feet long to listen around the intake for a vacuum leak? You can also use carb spray to spray around and see if it picks up idle. I had a lean problem with mine when I first built it, come to find out, some injector dork sold me some 19 lb injectors for a 305 TPI instead of the 22 lb for the 350. That fixed all my problems. Have you got timing set right? Did you unplug the set timing connector by the master cylinder before setting timing?

Yes timing was set at 6 degree and did disconnect the connector, pretty sure the problem is that the vacuum lines are not right, due to the EGR valve on the intake is not closing, i removed it and it works when i put a vacuum / pressure tester on it. does anyone have the the diagram they could send me on the vacuum system???
