i need some help getting a racing set up for my suspension. What parts/Brands should I look for to get a good road course car.

I suggest the Z51 Suspensoion components......thicker front & rear sway bar, also bielstenn shocks ....I sold my 2001 Z51 a few months ago had Z51 suspension handled great..if thats not firm enough get a Vet Brakes catalog...they have many set-ups the Dog
