Hay everybody! I'm Dan. Stumbled across this site when looking up some stuff for my Vette. I'm glad I found it! I have a 2000 Pewter C5 that was my dads. He LOVED this car! Now I know why he went from a F.O.R.D. (Fix Or Repair Daily) Mustang guy to the Corvette (he made the switch in his 60's...and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks). By the way...why do all the Mustang's try to waste my time?!

I used to be one of those guys in a "Rice Burner" that loved to mess with you. Although my "Rice Burner" could hold its own, after owning this car all I can say is, "HOLY $#!^!!!" I am proud to say I am a rehabilated man and I'm giving my import to my cousin next year when he turns 16. I can't wait to get rid of it because it's in the damn way...I don't even drive it anymore!

I'm learning as much as I can about my Vette, and this looks to be the site for me. My C5 is completely stock, which given my past history, will not say that way for long. I'm not rushing head first into any modifications though...but I just found out how to lower the car...

Glad you came to join us. we have a great bunch here, and we won't hold it agaist ya, that you used to be a "Ricer".
"Stangers" have something to prove, and they usually fail.Vettes hold their own quite well.
