Default Introduction

Hi everyone. This looks to be great forum to exchange information or find some answers.

A proud owner of 1975 Yellow L82 with less than 42K miles - and I am the original buyer. Had many memorable and great times with it and it is still in an excellent condition. I just need to change some rubber pieces here and there, but no big deal.

Look forward to reading and getting familiarized with your forum. Just in the market to pick up another Corvette, but this one is for my son (he prefers the newer models).

Welcome to the site...its not too often you find a person that is the original owner of a car that old. I wish I didn't get tired of cars so fast and could actually keep something that long.

You are right PAY2PLAY... I bought this car 1976 and it had less than 2,000 miles and it was in a perfect mint condition. Drove around like crazy, and had plenty of fun with it.. then I parked it - wife thought it was too dangerious to drive ... All I do is start it up once a month, take my boy and drive around the block... too bad the front and rear plastic bumpers are cracked (well the plastic will damage as it dries anyway)... No problems there.... I am looking to purchase these plastic piecs and then I have a nice project on hand with my son...

I will keep everything original anyway as much as possible (the interior carpet is well, need changing)... Everything else works perfectly and even have the original tires, that I am sure I will change as welll... Luckely many years ago I also bought drums and various hard to find nowadays parts just in case... and I am glad that I did...

Getting this car up in its top shape is my 2008 goal and I kept for all these years and eventually I will pass the Corvette flag to my son...

This is the best car I ever had and ever driven regardless having other makes and models from Ford, BMW and Benz and none of them came close to this car's stamena and more importantly, the history of this car... I probably will buy pre-1970 version for myself and give mine to my son and then may be I will cruise with him and teach him the ropes...
