Default Newb Introduction

Let me start with the important items. I have a 1969, Lamans Blue coupe, 350/300 auto with the original engine. The vehicle is mostly original with slight changes in the exhaust, intake and cam. I like most people always wanted a Corvette. After years of looking at Corvettes on the web I found one that had to be a misprint or not as advertised. I found what was listed as a 1968 Corvette with 56,000 miles for $9,500.00. The pics on the sight were not very good and emailed the seller to ask for more pics. The vehicle very good. I asked for the Vin and ran a full back ground check on the vehicle. I run a private investigation company so I really checked out this vehicle. The first item I noticed was the veh was a 1969 not a 68. I traveled the 200 miles to look at the veh myself. when I looked at the veh I noted the numbers matched the seller did not know what that meant. When I asked him why the Stingray emblems were not on his 1969 he stated it was a 68 not a 69. I asked if he wanted cash or a check. After getting the Vette home I called my insurance company and asked if the classic car expert could look at the car. He appraised the Corvette at $48,000 without even starting it. I have owned the veh for three years and repaired minor items like the fuel sending unit and speedometer cable. I started this month really getting into working on the veh. I updated the ignition with an electronic kit, plugs, plug wires, high flow water pump, chambered exhaust and a CD player with a new center dash benzal. The changes made a 500 percent change in the veh no more dieseling or stuttering and it sounds great. I next want to replace the high rise fuel manifold for the original so I can return the original air breather. Well thats my story with the Corvette..... So far.

Thanks. I have a few I took when we brought it home nothing fancy. I will post what I have and then I will take some with the new dash and engine. It said my pics were too big. I will try and save them under lower res. I will take some more with the new emblems and save them under lower res. I use a cannon dig reb so my pics are 6 to 8 megs each. Again thanks for the welcome.

I shrank them down but it only let me put one of them up. I put it in the pics area under 1969 Stingray Coupe.
