Default more ground clearance?

Wife is getting a new Suburban and I am working with a dealer on a new '09 base model 1LT Vette. I would drive the Vette pretty much year around in MichiGONE and have done so with other Vettes years ago. The new Vettes are lower than those I used to have and that is a concern. I understand there are leveling valves at each corner that are usually used to lower Vettes. Can they be raised by turning the bolt the other way? I remember months ago asking members of a Vette forum (possibly this one?) about raising a Vette some and got childish ridicule suggesting offroading, etc. I am too old for that stupidity and could really use decent advice. So, besides changing tires, which also might happen, how can I get a Vette up a bit? thnx! Also, very little chance I would get a Z06, but is the little lip (carbon fiber?) below the front splitter easily removed for some more clearance?

The ride height of the car can be adjusted either way. For example, I had the bushings changed on my 2000 C5 and when I got the car back, it was up in the air. If I can remember correctly, I had about 6" between the top of my tire and the fender before I lowered it all the way back down. You should be able to get some clearance...

THNX! GREAT News! And that was just by using the existing adjustment screws/10 mm bolts at each corner? Could that conceivably give me enough clearance to go to a sizeably larger rear tire? Anyone with experience that could tell me how much higher, front and rear, I could go from stock height? THNX ALL! Nice to get some real help.

Yes, that was done using the existing screws on all four corners. I don't know about clearance for more rubber...sorry.
