First time participation on a forum so try to be nice. I have a 1985 and the shop I go to for complicated repairs has informed me that to repair my air conditioner. I have been through two previous compressors. According to the mechanic the entire system needs to be replaced. I have been able to locate the parts needed except the hoses. I was told that current factory hoses cannot handle the pressure of the R134. Does anyone know where I can locate new hoses that work with the new refrigerant? Seems the hoses prior to 1991 are not compatabile to R134. Is this fact or fiction?
