Thats a tough question. They both have things I like and I don't like, but overall I think I am going to have to go with the Challenger.

WHAT IS IT YOU LIKE ABOUT THE DODGE BETTER ,I AM GOING TO SAY I LIKE THE CAMARO BETTER,I JUST NEVER LIKED DODGE EVER SINCE I WAS 16 YEARS OLD,AND I HAD A 1972 SS CAMARO WITH A 427 IN IT AND I WOULD ALL WAYS BEAT MY FRIENDS 1969 CHARGER WITH A 440 MAGNUM.THEN WHEN I WAS ABOUT 32 YEARS OLD I GOT A GOOD DEAL ON A DODGE RAM CHARGER,HAD A 318.I TOOK IT OUT AND PUT IN A340 BORED 60 OVER.10.1/2 COMP.MILD CAM.HEADERS MILD CARB.1500 STALL CONVERTER AND THAT THING WOULD NOT EVEN SPIN THE TIRES.I JUST DONT LIKE MOPAR,BUT THAT IS JUST ME,BUT I MUST SAY PATRICK'S CAR SOUND; REALLY GOOD.FOR A DODGE

 

I have always liked the Camaro more and still do.

In the late 60s/early 70s, I always liked the idea of the Challenger better than the actual car: the Challenger looked too much "me too" and a bit bland compared to the Camaro, which, while a "pony" car, somehow managed to make a distinct impression from the Mustang.

But I liked the idea of the Hemi Challenger and 440-six pack models a lot, enough I would have bought one if I could. I just could not afford one, if and in the budget range I had at the time I ended up buying a 327 Camaro over a 318 Challenger.

 

Based on looks alone, I like the Challenger.

 

Yikes, that's a loaded question! First and foremost, I am a bowtie dude all the way... always have been... always will be.

I've owned 2 Camaro Z/28's in my life. Both really nice and absolutely wicked cars. Totally loved 'em to bits.

I do like the new Camaro, but to be honest... that Challenger has somethin' about it that I just love. An' a HEMI... yeh... that doesn't suck right there!

 

I love the Camaro, but am leaning to the Challenger.

I'll have to wait and see which I like better when I can get up close and personal with them. From the engine department there is no question though. Much as I like the Chrysler hemi (it really is a great engine) I love the LS3 which I am certain will the the engine of choice that winds up in the Camaro.
