I will be picking up my 1992 Corvette this month in Southern California and taking it to Northern California to its new home. I've been told that it has been sitting for about 8 years in the High Desert and needs some TLC. I remember seeing it in her garage when it was owned by the previous owner, and it was a beautiful yellow. She lost one of the SRS shocks and at that time they were over $1,000. She just had the dealer replace all of them with stock. I will be replacing them back to the SRS ride shocks, providing the system still works. I've read that this older SRS system isn't that great and that the newer SRS system is much better. Will send photos when it arrives. Winters here are very cold and icy, so serious driving will have to wait until spring.
Thanks,
