1982 CE C3 randomly not starting.

The old junction block that wasn't in too bad of shape. By adding a new one I cleared the free shipping on my online order.

The old ECM plug for the inline fuse.

Old fuse

Purchased another inline fuse. I soldered the wires and used heatshrink. Again this is heading to the ECM.

Cleaned up some of the other wires. Crimped, soldered and heatshrink. ​​​​​​​

New junction block. The large wire on the right I only crimped it and added solder. I didn't have a connector that would fit it. ​​​​​​​

Not perfect but not bad. Starts right up everytime so far now. I need a battery hold down setup. The quick disconnect is a tight fit and I read about a different setup most use. For now I'll leave it on.

In electrical work, new stuff is usually better than cleaned up old stuff so you probably made the right choice. 👍🙂
