82 CE that is bogging down at throttle
Good afternoon everyone! I have thoroughly searched before asking such a basic question. I have the dreaded crossfire injection, replaced fuel filter, coil and plugs. Car is now bogging down when you give more than half throttle. The cat has been gutted so am sure it is getting plenty of backpressure. Can anyone please give me a clue as to what to check next! Any and all help is greatly apprecitated.
Thanks,
Brandon

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem to me, but I'm no F.I. expert. You need to check fuel pressure, I'd be looking at the pump and fuel pressure regulator. Good luck.
Did you check your timing?
Are you sure there is nothing plugging your exhaust system.
Last, you may need to rebuild your injection system.
Good luck,

Funny, I'm experiencing the exact thing. Was driving around and that was it. Barely made it back to the house. Cars been fine forever. I'm doing the basics first with a new air and fuel filter. O2 sensor just for kicks. I was able to start it but will only run for a few seconds and quit so I'll do it one stepp at a time.
