Darn Wipers...

Darn Wipers...
Yeah, been away for a while. After 4 yrs of work, finally buttoned up the 81 Vette, and took it in for inspection Friday. No wipers, fail. I know they worked fine when I built the dash, new switch, etc..
I have power at the fuse, but nothing at the switch. The shop manual shows a "wiper controller", which apparently is on connector C528, but C528 doesn't appear in any of the breakout diagrams or locator lists. Grrrr... I pulled the dash so I could get to all the wiring and look, but it appears that the two connectors from the switch go into the dash wiring harness, and right down to the fuse panel. Help!
Oh, and for those who remember my little "beater"... Some pics:

Of course, if anyone wants to take it off of my hands at this point, I'm moving overseas in 2 weeks and need to get rid of it anyway. My wife was ready to give it away when it came home with the "Rejected" sticker on the dash.

OK, answered my own question. The mystery component (intermittent wiper controller) and connector (C528) are buried in the jack compartment. And for those (like me) who didn't know where that is (and don't even carry a spare tire)... behind the passenger seat, open the storage bin, remove the black bin, and it is near the front edge of the opening behind the seat.
Folllow enough wires looking for the brown with white stripe, and you will strike gold.
