My lock systems have gotten crudded up also. No problem with the elec to the locks, just that the lock mechanisms are stiff and cruddy and they'd stick, this was prior to replacing the rubber around the windows. Water and dust equaled stiffness, and I don't mean alot of water, mostly just moisture. Making no noise, you'd think that they weren't getting any connection.
