Front bumper
I have a 1993 Z28 and a 1981 Corvette. The front bumperson both cars are starting to spiderweb and chip. The Corvette is not as bad seeing as though it has been better taken care of and is white. However the Camaro is black and was once a daily driver! I'm wondering if simply stripping the bumper and repainting it will be ok or if it is best to just get a new one ?? Since they are plastic I wonder if the "spiderwebbing" will reappear or what. Thanks !

You can probably strip and successfully repaint the Z-28 but the age of the Corvette urethane bumper cover is to the point of becoming brittle. Probably not worth the investment to repaint and then have it start to crack and have to replace anyway. Be sure to use a flex agent in the paint when you paint flexible parts.
