repair seatbelts

does anyone know how to take apart a seatbelt retractor? and where can you buy parts (retractor spring) for them?

I never really hear of anyone doing seatbelt work themselves. However, there are some places you can send it and get it reconditioned. My friend did this for his 77. They rebuilt it and put in a new belt.
