suspension overhaul
I am leaving this week for a 7 monthdeployment (Navy) and I am going to start buying some items for my 1979 Vette while I am gone so I can start working on it March when I get back. The interior is 5 years old and the engine runs great but I need to work on the suspension and drive train (29 years old) and brakes. I also need to work on the AC and blower so I can get some ventilation in the car. I assume that some of this is vacuum hoses for the vents but not sure. The headlights work great, PG gave me a great pointer on those so i am no longer winking at everyone going down the road.
Where do I start. I have all the ordering catalogs but just not sure where to start....
I don't want to mortage the house but I do want to get it to the point where it is very dependable. My e-mail on the ship is dgood@lsd50.navy.mil (USS CAETER HALL LSD 50)if you have any good ideas or starting points. I am not sure if I will be able to access the forums while at sea. Thanks for all the help and I will see you all in March.
