Torque Convertor question.

Torque Convertor question.
Currently I've got a rebuilt stock convertor. I'd like to get a new one, but I'm not terribly familiar with them. What's a good one for street/strip performance?
Also, how hard are they to install? I know you need to drop the tranny, but after that?

RE: Torque Convertor question.
Well i have always had good luck with tci convertors
As far as instal its a snap when you drop the trans you will have to unbolt the 3 bolts holding the convertor to the flexplate then when the trans is out just pull it off the shaft of the trans (good time to replace front seal !!) then put like 1-2 qrts of trans fluid in the new convertor and rub some on the inside and outside of the center cone that slides into the seal push it in easy and turn it clockwise as you push it in it should slip in a couple times till it is bottumed out and should be an inch or so inset past the center top of the trans ( like if you but a ruler up to the top where the trans mates to the motor the convertor should not touch it) then bolt it all back in.
