Hi jsholm2, to get the kick panels off you have to remove the sill plate first.
I'll use Ecklers catalog. Ifyou have there catalog go to page 74, that is the sill plate. part # a2302, the kick panel is on page 80 part # a8520L (for left). If you don't have the catalog go to www.ecklers.com and use the #'s to see where they are and what they look like.
Each year Vette can be a little different but it looks like your 75 and my 74 are about the same.
Air Conditioned cars and non A/C cars are also a little different.
As far as the book or other books, big book stores have them in stock, you can stop in and look at the book and the page, we don't have to buy every book offered for sale, sometimes a quick look is enough.
Phill mentioned using automotive seam sealer, from the automotive supply store, that's a great tip. Ask him again where he put it and see if that solves your problem.
This is a great forum and everyone is so very helpfull, if a reply is not clear enough just ask for more information, we all learn from each other. PG.

When I was installing my A/C, I noticed a tube (~2.5" dia) that penetrates the inner body shell and allows air to enter the car thru the kick panel vents. The end of the tube has a 90 degree turn down to keep water out. If you've ever seen a Corvette with the fenders off, you could see this tube. You can't see it without using a mirror but it's down in the area below the screen in the cowl area that keeps debris out. Anyway I put some sealer around this tube and voila, the leak stopped.
