RE: winter sux!!!
I'm lucky, in Charlotte, N.C. I can drive year round. I realy enjoy a ride. I start to Jones if it rains for a few days and it's stuck in the garage and I'm stuck at home.
In the last month I had to change a choke pull off and replace a bad vacuum connection on the manifold, but when they run right they are just too much fun!
Just keep driving and enjoy the ride, I do. PG.

RE: winter sux!!!
I've mentioned before, the driving season is all year and the cars are so much cleaner in the hotter, dryer states. Here in Central Texas, even the frames on older stuff have factory paint still in good condition. I always hated the rust and oxidation that was caused bywinter wet and cold, along with the salt put on the roads for the ice. I pointed out to my wife just the other day as we were getting into the car at the shopping center that the '90 Nissan pick up parked next to us had perfect paint on the frame that showed in the rear fender-well.
I alwayshave to remarkthat I highly respect the guys up north who restore and/or maintain their older rides as the winters are so harsh and long and the cruising season so short and it's so much more of a challenge and takes alot more dedication to own a nice older cruiser up there. "Hats-Off" to you guys!!!
