Default 1984 vette build up plan

hello allmy name is Josh andi just recently purchased a white 1984 vette, one owner owned by an older man who used it for weekend cruising. I am younger my self and want to build it up to a more hot rod vette than the previous owner. everything is bone stock. i have a 383 stroker i built up for ans10project here a while back. plans changed and motor has ever been fired up. my plan it to drop it in the vette and do a more modern 6 speed swap along with it. the car still has the factory cross fire injection setup. the stroker was planned to be setup with a carb for the s 10. i would like to do away with the cross fire setup and go with a different fuel injection setup in the car. i am totally new to corvette tech. this is the first corvette i have had my hands on at the ripe age of 20. if anyone could give me advice on finding the necessary parts like clutch pedal assembly, lengthening or shortening of the drive shaft, etc. on swapping in a 6 speed. and fuel injection advice i would greatly appreciate it.

First of all, welcome to the forum. Just a question, is the current status of the car bad or do you not like the original setup of the 1984 Corvette? How many miles are on your corvette? Do you have pictures? BK

If its got the 4+3 manual, and its going to be a driver, I'd say swap out the tranny for the 6spd manual.
Basically if the block and heads have the same attachments as a vette block and heads, your good to go.
If yourvette does not have already a computer chip, I'd start there.

Remember to keep all the original parts, so the vette can be restored.
Remember you may have bought your first vette, but some day, some one else is going to buy that vette, and they may want to pull all your stuff off and restore it to original.

oh, and welcome aboard
