Default Computer tune for '93 Lt1

I replace the Bosch 3's injectore with some new series 4 Bosch injectors, but it appears my mileage has dropped and Jon Banner suggested hacing a tune done on computer. Can a chevy/gm deaer do this or try to find a corvette shop for this? I did see some software "Tunercat", to do this with anyone have experience with this software? I am trying to get over 30 mpg. For a few fillups I was getting over 30, but had problems with fuel pressure regulator. Have new adjustable installed and set pressure originally at 43 no vacuum, mileage was poor. Increased pressure and it helped mileage. Reinstalled Bosch 3's and set pressure at 58 novac and 50 with vac increased mileage over bosch 4's. Reset pressure to 63 no vac 55 w/vac and getting around 28. Any other ideas.

Scotth48,

Bad news. I have a 93 LT1 too and bought it new. I was sure that somebody would come up with a way to tune/reprogram the chip, but you can't in the 93. You can only have one custom blasted and installed. A good Corvette performance shop can send your specifications/modifications to someone that has the equipment to blast a new chip. You could actually do the job too if you were super savy and had access to the chip burning equipment, but it's normally beyond we tinkerers.

I've had to have new chips blasted for mine each time I add an engine, exhaust, injectors, performance cam, hi-flow heads, headers and change the boost level on my supercharger, or add an aftercooler. But has it ever been fun. 565 RWHP is a blast!
