Hello everyone. I bought a 1992 Vette last December 2023. Love everything about it except the annoying drone. I took it to a exaust specialist and they put it upon the hoist. The guy brings me in to show why he thinks the drone is so bad. Apparently the previous owner replaced the entire system front to back with 3.5 inch pipe. There are mufflers but no catalytic converters. He said that the bigger the pipe, the slower exaust moves through the system and vice versa. So that's why the engineers put smaller pipe on the car. My question is...what is the most successful way to eliminate or significantly reduce the drone without replacing the system front to back?
