Headlight problem!

My problem was the filament wire in the foreground of this picture just behind the small black square was broken.

If what you replaced was a jumper wire, then it took a lot of current to burn it out. Wonder what caused that? Was the wire that you replaced it with the same gauge?

Also it appeared that R13 had one end disconnected. Hope your problem is permanently solved.

You are correct , one end of R13 was disconnected and I soldered that too. I literally replaced the jumper wire with a straight pin, which seemed like it was a little heavier gauge.

That will work if it was just a jumper but if it was designed to be a fusible link then whatever blew the first one will probably burn out something else next time. Time will tell.
