Having problems with the headlights completing there cycle.Sometimes they work fine and other times they wont come all the way up or close all the way.Also if I assist them they will sometimes not lock and I will be driving and they will release and spin half way.Mainly on the driver side.Any input will be appreciated.Car is 89 vette coupeSteve

 

Sounds like the nylon gears in the motor. Real common problem witht these. Eckler's or just about any Corvette place sells a steel replacement gear set. You have to pull the headlight assembly and disassemble to get at the motor and gears. Good Luck! [sm=americanasmiley.gif]
