My 84 Vette is having headlight problems. When the lights are turned on the motors will not stop running once the headlights have moved to their opened or closed position. Sometimes the right one works like it is supposed to, but the left one continues to malfunction. Is this going to be the headlight actuation module, a relay, or both? If so, where is the headlight actuation module located? I have found the relays, but as of yet been unable to locate the actuation module. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks, HS

 

It sounds to me like the typical C4 headlight issue!

Chris is right. Probably the nylon gears are stripped in the motor.
