petition to STOP PARTIAL-BIRTH Abortions
Body: We've filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court of the United States representing 78 members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives as well as 322,275 members of our Committee to Protect the Ban on Partial-Birth Abortion in support of the federal ban ... all based on the Gonzales v. Carhart case out of Nebraska, which weve been involved in from the beginning. (We'll keep fighting the ACLU and the abortion lobby with your help!)
Recently, the Supreme Court has agreed to hear a second case involving the constitutionality of the ban. Taking this second case clearly elevates one of the most culturally significant issues of our time. The stakes are high, and we are very pleased that the Supreme Court now has the opportunity to abolish what can only be described as "infanticide." The ACLJ will continue to represent our members and members of Congress before the Court in this new Ninth Circuit case.
