Hey all, i'm new the forum and buying my first Corvette this Saturday. Nervous & excited.
I'm in between houses and unfortunately my 95 (black) will have to bake in this Florida sun. What would you recommend being the best cover. It'll sit for 3 days at a time and i'll be driving it the other 2, so i'll be taking the cover on & off periodically, henceforth; don't want to risk scratching the paint. Not wanting to spend a fortune, probably $100 or so.

Any suggestions??

I'm afraid you aren't going to get too much for that price forthe weather conditions you describe.Check out a Noah or other brand cover.The good outside/inside kinds go for about $150-$250. There many, many types of covers in Corvette Central, Eckler's, Midamerica Motorworks, Corvetteamerica, etc.. By the way, what happened to the other two days in the week?

Oh, the other 2-3 days out of the week i'm patroling the streets of Jacksonville (police officer), hence the financial budget for a simple cover.[&o]

 

I patrol the streets of Superior WI . Not as hot, but the winters suck. The Vette sits idle from Nov til Jun. Give me a call at Superior Police Department 715-395-7234 during normal business hours and ask for Officer Beauchamp. If I'm not around, the gal that answers the phone will send you to my voice mail.. Hope to hear from you.
