NO FUEL PRESSURE

RE: NO FUEL PRESSURE
I've been reading a lot of other vette pages and one thing I read that I forgot to mention. My battery drained along with the fuel pump not working. Seems to be an indication of a bad relay. Now if I only knew where to find it.

RE: NO FUEL PRESSURE
I have an 86 and my fuel pump went out right as i was pulling into a mall parking lot. To answer your question, i think, im pretty sure the relay is a little black module attached to the wheel well, near the battery and cruise control.
But i would bet that it is the fuel pump. Have a friend turn the key on while you go to the back and see if u can hear the pump. and it wouldnt hurt to check to see if you get voltage to the fuel pump. Im pretty sure if you remove that rubber piece in the fuel filler area, you can access the fuel pump and the wires going into it.
