oil pressure guage
well my next problem my oil pressure gauge shows 80+ psi when on the road and 70+ at idle is this ok. when i turn the engine of the oil pressure gauge is showing about 40 psi, is my gauge bad or what?

well your pressure sound good,the gage should go back to 0 when the car is off, so it sound like the gage is getting stuck on its way back down,but your oil pressure is great hope this helps

80 lbs is a bit high. Key on, engine off gauge shows around 40 lbs, I would unplug the sending unit and see what happens. If the gauge either goes full scale or returns to zero, I would suspect the sending unit.
