oil pressure guage

well my next problem my oil pressure gauge shows 80+ psi when on the road and 70+ at idle is this ok. when i turn the engine of the oil pressure gauge is showing about 40 psi, is my gauge bad or what?

well your pressure sound good,the gage should go back to 0 when the car is off, so it sound like the gage is getting stuck on its way back down,but your oil pressure is great

changed oil so it sits at about 65 at idle when warm and 75 to 80 cruiseing

80 lbs is a bit high. Key on, engine off gauge shows around 40 lbs, I would unplug the sending unit and see what happens. If the gauge either goes full scale or returns to zero, I would suspect the sending unit.
