Can anyone give me any advice on the benfits of the performance chip?
I have a 91 Vette.
Are there specific kinds that are better than others?

 

I've passed by a fewsellers on ebay thatlist a chip for C4's that guarantees a 35HP increase. And in checking the sellersfeedback records, it seems that all the C4 corvette chip buyers have been satisfied, and saying that it definatley made a difference in HP. I'm still on the fence though. The Chip only sells for about $50 after shipping. Sounds too good to be true.

Check out PCMforless.com they did the chip on my L98 IROC. And just seat of the pants I'm satisfied. Cure a rich condition and smoothed out my idle. Very satisfied.

 

I agree. Alvin can do wonders. Stay away from generic chips like Hypertech.
