TWO C4 QUESTIONS, NEED HELP

Default TWO C4 QUESTIONS, NEED HELP

1. MY TEMP READOUT STOPPED WORKING, ONLY SAYS LO. I REPLACED THE 2 WIRE TEMP SENSOR ABOVE WATER PUMP AREA AND NO CHANGE, NEED ANSWERS. 2. IS THERE A WAY TO ADJUST THE REVERSE LINKAGE ON MY 1985 4+3 MANNY TRANNY, DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO MOVE IN REVERSE VERY WELL BUT ALL OTHER GEARS WORK FINE, HELP PLEASE.

1. the sensor that drives the temp. readout is located on the rear, passenger side between plugs 6 & 8. Should be a one-wire connection.

REPLACED THAT ONE LAST WEEK BUT THE BOOK CALLED THAT A "COOLING FAN SWITCH" TO TRIGGER THE FAN ON AT A CERTAIN TEMP

Temp sending unit is supposed to be driver's side between #1 and #3 spark plugs, single wire. The one above the water pump in the intake is the coolant temp sensor for the ECM. Way to test the gauge is ground the wire going to the sensor with key on. Gauge should go full hot when you do that[8D]
