Awesome news! Yeh, I have to admit, personally I have found almost 50% of alternators have problems in my experience. The only ones I've NEVER had a problem with are AC Delco. At any rate, it sounds like you're back in business here. Keep us posted!

im glad to report that the alternator is holding up... ive had now for a few weeks.
