Default competitive driving

Hello everyone
My name is jerry andI am just joining
I have had my 99 C5 for about 4 months now
its a DD thatI use also for work trips. the companyI work for lets me take it
to job sites all the time and compensats me very well
My question is when you press and hold the active supension button for about 7 seconds
the message COMPETIVE DRIVING shows on the DIC. just what does this mean and what systems
are still active
the switch that controls the Real time Dampening is not working but the ride and handling is so great
that is is not a issue
thanks for any input
jerry

Hey Jerry,

Welcome to the forum bud!! There's a thread that was posted a while back about this subject and recently it's been brought back. It doesn't really go into detail about it but you might want to check it out anyway. I have a 98 with Active Handling, but holding down that button for 5-7 seconds doesn't do anything to mine other than turn it off.

Anyway, here's a link to that thread: https://www.corvetteforums.com/m_11286/tm.htm

Default RE: competitive driving

Thanks Arch
I checked out the links you posted and read them, I think thatI will just keep it in active on mode
which seems to be the default and keep it shinning and looking good
Jerry
