i know there is a problem with the 2001 engines using oil. Has anyone paid for this repair? how much was it? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get it repaired? Right now iuse about 1 quart every 1000 to1200 miles

Look into this thread, there are 3 or 4 different things people have claimed to try with success. A re ring seems like the only "real" fix though.
