Default 2007 Headlight Qestion

Have some spots inside driver side headlight. Looks like it may wipe off easily. At night appears to be shiny "stardust" inside too. Not a big issue but would like to know how difficult it is to remove headlight/lens.
Thanks.

I did see a YouTube on that subject a while back where this guy addresses that issue. I think that would drive me crazy also.

I was not aware of others with that issue but have decided to not worry about it. I watched videos to remove headlight. A lot of work! So will live with the minor issue.
Thanks for your reply.

I wonder if there is a way to fabricate a small vent tube off the bottom of the light housing that used a small tube 1/4 in size or smaller that connected to maybe a paper type inline fuel filter. Something that you would find on a small or gasoline engine. it would let the light housing breathe but trapping the moisture that would enter the light. Maybe? I have used paper filters like that to vent older fuel tanks but didn't want dirt and moisture to get in. Just a thought.

Will give that some thought. Inside headlight doesn't look like moisture now, though may have been before. Really surprised at how the shiny "stardust" is there and what it might be.
Thanks for suggestion.

It's just one of those things, when the lights are shut off when they are hot or when parking and there is humid air around them and they cool they draw outside air in. If it's humid air it will draw it in. As a general rule when something is warm like differentals or fuel tanks, try not to spray water around them when they are warm or hot because they draw moist air in when they cool. Same idea with headlights. But when you have humid weather or rain that's something that's hard to control. They do breathe. Something to think about.
