Default Fueling Issue?

I'm new to the Corvette community as I've only owned my 2013 C6 for two weeks, so I'm still on a steep learning curve. I have had to put gas in my car a couple of times so far and have had issues both times. When I get to about a half tank, the California vapor recovery nozzles kick off repeatedly and the only way to finish filling up is to trickle gas into the tank. I think it took me 15 minutes to fill up last time.

Has anyone else had these issues or have any tips? I read the manual and didn't find any notes on this.

Haven't heard about this on the Corvettes but if you go over to the Tahoe section on the Chevroletforum.com, you will see this issue being discussed and how it can be fixed. It has to do with the vapor recovery apparatus in the fuel system. There is a solenoid valve and some venting systems either that fail or get plugged up.
