Had this squeak a year of so ago. Sounds like when the pedal is mashed, the rubber boot is dry. In the olden days, a rod ran through a boot and needed a little lube to get it to go away. The dealer says it can not be lubricated and he replaced the whole brake assembly. It is now doing it again. Anyone had this problem and come up with a fix? Thanks

 

Check any metal to metal joints and see if lightly lubing them helps. Maybe a little silicone on any rubber parts might help.

 

No luck with the silicone. Still getting that rubber squeak/rubbing noise.

 

I'm bringing this back up as I recently got a 2013 Coupe and am having the same issue. I thought maybe in teh time since the original post, maybe someone has come up with a fix?
