Larry, I am not a vette owner, but I do have some experience with Warranty issues. I think you can count on Chevy NOT warrantying any damage to a corvette if it is related to the supercharger or chip, And, You can bet that the service dept. will be trying to relate ANY damage to the engine or drivetrain to any aftermarket work you have done. Only because the Chip will mess with the brain of the car, and the supercharger, is, well, just a bit of an extreme mod to add to a vehicle. Now if you were talking Intakes and Exhausts, Most service shops will overlook that, because they know the nature of the beast when it comes to vettes. But, When you're talking computer work or Forced Induction, There comes a point where the service dept.'s hands are just simply tied, And theres nothing they can do. Hope I Helped!

Oh, Also a side note, I Work at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Joliet, IL. #1 Corvette Dealership in the Midwest. BUT! I am only a Sales Consultant, I am not a service Writer or a tech. so what I wrote above is merely MY version of the truth. It isn't fact. :-) Have a good one!

I have a Charlie Hempfield-built wet-sump C5R engine (427.6 cubes, basically the same as the LS7 with a wet sump) in my '02, with only 10:1 compression ratio but a ProChrager D1SC (it is worth noting this is the mid-size model, not the smaller P that you see most of the time). It puts down 603 RWHP & 615 RWT at only 4.9 lbs of boost (with mufflers), about 40 more of each without - more if you tune it a bit leaner.

In recent tests with higher pulley ratios, it looked like the HP curve was tending toward about 700 RWHP and T at 6.5 lbs boost - not sure because we ran into fuel supply problems above 5000 RPWM (it had an 18 volt pump and 53 lb injectors already) so I am having a higher voltage fuel system with 85 lb injectors and a new control impedance box for them put in now. I expect about 700 RWHP at around 7 lbs boost when that is done, and more if I go to more boost (its built for up to 10).
