keyless entry

I am looking at a 96 convertible and the owner has no keyless entry fob. Did a previous owner lose it? or did the car not have the feature?

I think they had one, I know that you can pick one up for about $130 bucks.

The '96 did come with one. A guy I work with has a '96 and he has the key FOB.

Same thing with my recently acquired 95. The previous owner lost the key fob. I'll eventually get one off ebay programmed for 125.00 instead of the 349 plus 1/2 hour labour from the dealer.
