Default RE: losing spark on 66

I had a similar problem with a set of bad "carbonwire" plug wires I bought. Some brand named SparkEagle or something I had never heard of but it was recommended mistake. It was an expensive set ($80 or so) and fit well all the right lengths and such and looked good, but my '70 nevernever started well, although it ran okay once it was warmed up. Not sure what toe problem was, but I eventually replaced it with a Delco set (basically, stock) and that completely cured the problem.
