Default Ralley Wheel Date Codes

Need some help understanding what's on my 74. Looking to determine if restoration is worth the effort.
Two wheels have date codes that read:

K 18 3 23 AZ
K 10 12 18 AZ
Any chance either of these would be original to a 74 manufactured in April?
If not, what value would they have to another enthusiast?

If you are trying to build a matching numbers car you should obtain a NCRS manual that explains what you need to have for that. You can Google the numbers and letters off the rims and find where and when they were made. Even non numbers matching cars are all worth something in good condition matching numbers or not. To me any Corvette in fairly good condition is restoreable, an if you don't go overboard you can get most of your money back, excluding labor cost. Roadsters bring more money most of the time because they build less of them, or a roadster with A/C that was rare.

When you ask if it's worth it, it depends on what you want to do with it. If by chance you want an award winning show car than you probably want to make sure you have a car unusual enough to justify that cost. However if the plan is to return a dormant car to the road and enjoy it then the possibilities are endless.
