"Change Oil reset

RE: "Change Oil reset
buy a haynes or chiltons manual. they tell you how to turn it off. It isnt that hard once you see how to do it, but its something you probably wont remember. and unless the people that changed your oil (if it isnt you that is) own a c4, they will have NO idea how to do it. they barely remember to put the bolt back on half the time. good luck and ill post how to turn it off after work but im runnin late right now.

RE: "Change Oil reset
So happens I had to have my "change oil" light reset 2 days ago on my 92. Process should be the same. Here is the procedure. Hope this helps.
1. Turn ignition on, press ENG/MET button and release, then press ENG/MET button again within 5 seconds.
2. Within 5 seconds of step 1, press and hold the GUAGES button until the "Change Oil" indicator begins to flash. Hold GUAGES button until indicator stops flashing and goes out (approximately 10 seconds).
3. I indicator was not successfully reset, turn ignition off and repeat reset procedure.
Good Luck!

For future ref have another look at your owners manual as mine does show how to reset the oil change monitor. I also know a site where you can download 20 meg pdf file of the complete owners manual for some vettes including the 95.
